1 of 2 BMW 7-Series Wagons Sold on Ebay
Did you know there was a 7-Series Wagon? If not, don’t be too hard on yourself, as the 2 in existence were made only for the Frankfurt Auto Show and have received virtually nil press since their debut. Both wagons are 1981 733i Tourings, offering a 3.2L inline six-cylinder engine that produced 174 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an automatic transmission, most likely a 4-speed unit. While exceptionally rare, this example sold for only $6,000, a far cry from the $15k it commanded when sold via e-bay in November of 2000.
