 Hennessey CTS-V Wagon Imminent

We just spoke with John Hennessey, founder and mastermind behind Hennessey Performance, and he confirmed his company is about to tune their first CTS-V Sport Wagon. For those out of the loop, Hennessey Performance is the purveyor of some of the wildest and well-engineered vehicles on the road today. John cut his teeth tuning Dodge Vipers, namely by adding twin-turbochargers capable of rocketing these 1000+ horsepower monsters to sixty in under 3 seconds, and reaching a top speed of over 250 miles per hour.

Now Hennessey and his company are turning their attention to the recently unveiled 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon. Already one of the fastest wagons in the world with a 556hp 6.2L blown V8, this Caddy wagon is about to be one of the fastest sport wagons of all time. While Hennessey has not confirmed the exact configuration of the first example they have arriving in the next six weeks, wagonphiles worldwide can expect packages ranging from only 610 bhp to a staggering 800 bhp. Best of all, buyers can have their choice of forced induction, as Hennessey’s V800 Sport Wagon offers a custom twin turbo system (all other packages utilize a supercharger) that promises to deliver ¼ mile runs in the low 11’s and an estimated top speed of over 210 mph.

Could this be the world’s new fastest modified street-legal wagon? Stay tuned to find out.
