Touring Superleggera To Unveil Bentley “Shooting Star”
Milan-based Italian coachbuilder Touring Superleggera has announced a new 3-door shooting brake model. Due to be unveiled on March 2nd at the 2010 Geneva Salon, the “Shooting Star” will be Touring’s first Bentley based coach build. The new bespoke model will have a limited run of “up to 20 units,” based either on the standard 552hp Continental coupe, or the 600hp “Speed” version. This will be Touring’s second custom-built hatchback, after the Maserati Quattroporte based Bellagio Fastback. The company states that the Shooting Star will have a “new interior [which] features two completely foldable individual rear seats,” creating a luggage space over two meters in length. For final details, check back in early March when the Shooting Star is formally unveiled.
